Guest: Z Haukeness from Groundwork, a white anti-racist collective in Madison. Haukeness talked about how racism is institutionalized in our society and how everyone can take on the responsibility of fighting racism. The group expects to begin meeting regularly again in February, and anyone interested in getting involved can contact Haukeness.

Guest: Larry Gleasman, owner of Grampa’s Gun Shop at 1374 Willy St. Gleasman buys old guns, fixes guns, and sells guns. Gleasman talked about how he got involved in the gun business, how he decides who to sell guns to, and why he believes concealed carry could prevent deaths by gun violence.

Brown is the Leadership and Involvement Coordinator and a leader in Stop the Silence Campaign. Filer is the Communications and Public Relations Specialist
• Seniors Joaquin Selva and Jacob Fiksel from Madison West High School. They organized a sit-in to protest the district’s proposal to have students choose between preparatory and accelerated classes. The Wisconsin State Journal covered the protest. The students formed a Facebook group to organize students and keep everyone in the loop.
