10/25/10: Madison West seniors, LGBT Campus Center leaders

Brown is the Leadership and Involvement Coordinator and a leader in Stop the Silence Campaign. Filer is the Communications and Public Relations Specialist
  • Seniors Joaquin Selva and Jacob Fiksel from Madison West High School. They organized a sit-in to protest the district’s proposal to have students choose between preparatory and accelerated classes. The Wisconsin State Journal covered the protest. The students formed a Facebook group to organize students and keep everyone in the loop.
